Marina Murphy, MA, LCPC

I practice from a place of acceptance and create space for my clients to feel safe opening up and diving in. My work as a therapist is to provide you with the tools you need to move forward with your life and create more emotional bandwidth to tackle everything ahead of you. For over 12 years I have been working with clients suffering from anxiety, depression and relationship issues. I have attended many additional trainings on body image concerns, postpartum depression and anxiety and infidelity. By starting therapy you are beginning the work of understanding and prioritizing your mental and emotional health and I am happy to go on the journey with you.

My typical sessions are all focused on what my clients bring in and want to discuss. I work from a relational perspective and believe that the alliance between the therapist and the client is where the growth and treatment come through. I am here to support my clients through their journeys and offer an outside perspective to what they are coping with. I incorporate elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic therapy, narrative therapy, body positivity, intuitive eating, and various other approaches to tailer each persons individual needs. I feel great honor to get to be a source of help and support to others.
